What a difference a day makes!

Monday 9:30 a.m.

It is amazing to wake up, get out and see the sunshine this morning! This last week has held a lot of rain, clouds and gloom! But oh, what a difference …

To wax spiritual, it does remind me that even after a week of personal emotional and spiritual struggle that “Those who wait upon the Lord, he shall renew their strength!” When you are fighting those personal battles, even when your head knows the truth, often your heart struggles to accept it. Your head knows that “God is in Control!”, but your heart struggles to see beyond the pain, hurt or darkness! But “those who wait upon the Lord …”

Remember too, that often times the battles we fight are there to distract us from the victories that are sure to come. The battle is won, because the battle belongs to the Lord. However, if the “enemy of our souls” can convince us to give up now, then we will never know the victory that is already won.

Hang in there! One day or sometimes even a few minutes can make all the difference in the world! There is more support on your side then there are is against you!
